Install

Rain Explorer comes as a Windows installer that doesn't need administrator access.

1. Open the Releases page on GitHub.
2. Download the latest RainExplorer-Setup-*.exe.
3. Run it. It installs just for you, so it doesn't ask for administrator access by default.
4. Open Rain Explorer from the Start menu.

Updates#

Rain Explorer checks for updates on its own. You can also choose to get pre-release updates in its settings.

Building it yourself#

You need Windows 10 version 1809 or newer and the .NET 10 SDK (and Inno Setup 6 only to build the installer).

dotnet build Main\RainExplorer.csproj -c Release

The README has the self-contained publish and installer steps.
