Use it for a quick crop or a layered image.
Opening images#
Hoshino opens PNG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, GIF and TIFF images, using the image codecs installed in Windows. Open with Ctrl+O or import more with Ctrl+I.
Layers#
- Import several images; each becomes a layer you can move and reorder.
- Set each layer's opacity.
Deleteremoves the selected layer.
Crop, rotate and resize#
Crop right on the canvas, rotate, flip and resize. Esc cancels a crop.
Colour#
Adjust exposure, contrast, saturation and temperature. Undo, redo and reset are there when you need them.
Remove a background#
Hoshino removes backgrounds on your PC, with an adjustable tolerance that follows edges.
Upscale#
Upscale locally from 100% to 1000%. There's a safety limit of 120 megapixels.
Zoom#
Zoom from 5% to 800%: Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- to zoom, Ctrl+0 for 100%, and Ctrl+9 to fit the whole image.
Export#
Export what you see as PNG, JPEG, BMP or TIFF with Ctrl+S.
